Osler Mennonite Church hosts 7 Thousand Generation Walkers

The 7 Generations Walk is a non-violent action challenging the Saskatchewan government's plan to accept and store nuclear waste from Eastern Canada. Osler Mennonite Church in Osler, SK, fed and billeted the walkers. Walkers are concerned that an accident from buried nuclear waste will damage fresh water sources in the province. The 900 kilometre walk ended at the provincial legislature in Regina, and a presentation to the Saskatchewan government's Chief of Staff, Cam Baker.
