At Breslau Mennonite Church in sharing time we drew attention to the fact that 9.2% of our Federal Income Tax(ePTR) is used for military purposes (killing). The following week we then offered to help individuals complete the ePTR found on the Conscience Canada web site at www.consciencecanada.ca. We set up 3 laptops in the foyer and helped people fill in the forms, either A or B, depending on their comfort level. The first Sunday we had 16 persons sign up registering their disapproval of this use of our tax dollars. The forms are then sent electronically to a list of our government leaders and the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency)
