Mennonite Church Saskatchewan's Peace and Justice Committee held a Remembrance Day service on Novemeber 1, 2009, in Saskatoon. The service was downtown at the outdoor Rotary Peace Park. Over sixty people attended this first time "inclusive" Remembrance Day service in which both victims and participants of war were respectfully remembered with scripture, spoken word litanies, the holding of ashes, and times of silence.
